THE APOCALYPSE CONCEPT
      1. The Prophets                                                              

   In the dead of night, when no one is around
   They talk about the light, then become spellbound
   Prophets they are called, seekers of the light
   Knowledge overall, wisdom multiplied

   Superior men of supernatural minds
   Prophecies spoken, trying to save all mankind

   The prophets, nobody listens to them
   The prophets, oh I want to believe in them
   The prophets, no one believes what they say
   But they all will regret it one fine day

   Hiding in the dark, waiting for the sound
   When the light appears, all are heaven bound
   The prophets are aware, knowing what will come
   The others in despair, fall to the light's spectrum

            
                    2. Comet

              It has been written
              In some past season
              A light will shine up in the sky

              Like the sun's fire
              Prophet's desire
              It's coming here to sanctify

              Here comes your comet
              No power can stop it
              It's coming toward us and our land

              As it draws to us
              It will destroy those
              Who do not fit into the plan

              We know the reason this comet is coming
              We tell you, you tell us we're fools
              The light you are seeing is coming to judge you
              And all who are breaking the rules

            
              3. The Bells Of Hell

   I've heard the end is near the prophets say
   And it won't be long before the judgment day
   See the lord come from the sky
   If he should pass us by
   The bells of hell will call for you and I

   The bells of hell are ringing in my ears
   The bells of hell are ringing loud and clear
   When our evil lives are through
   Pay the devil what he's due
   The bells of hell will summon me and you

             
              4. Armageddon

 Troops are ever marching out onto the battlefield
 People always fighting never try to get along
 Man against himself and he is never gonna yield
 Until he's proven to the world that he cannot be wrong

 Torn between the righteous and the wrong upon the earth
 Mass confusion everywhere is all that I can see
 People wander aimlessly, wondering what they're worth
 The light that's burning in the sky is where they soon will be

 Armageddon great confusion
 Good and evil
 And in the end, onward to the sky
 Armageddon decision to live or die

 And now the end is near and Armageddon must go
 The final trial is over now and man will never know
 The price of evil stamped upon the heads of those who fell
 Upon the bloody ground, the day of God, onward to hell

           
              5. Finale

   Look at the stars up in the sky
   Find a wise man ask him why
   The answer lies so far away
   Back to forgotten yesterdays

   Good fighting evil till its gone
   We will cease fighting when we've won
   My eyes have seen the battlefield
   I've seen the swords, I've seen the shields

   Walk straight ahead into the night
   Cut through the blackness with the light
   The sword of fire in my hands
   Raise up my arms
   God save the land

              6. Sanctuary

Imagine if you can, a cold and barren land
Where those who live there never see
And they'll remain there endlessly, forever and forever

They try and try in vain to vanquish or relieve the pain
but end up cutting 'cross their veins
in order to insure that pain returns no more

Now somewhere far away, beneath the sunlight rays
A land of peace that we have found
We shall become euphoria bound in the land of our sanctuary

This is the place of our sanctuary
This is the place, this is the way
No one can take us from our sanctuary
And this is the place we will stay

For those who cross the bridge of fate
And those who only sit and wait
Will share within an endless hate
The torment of the closing gate
Which opens not, and signifies
Those who lived and those who died
And "His"'' whose soul rose to the sky
In glorious wonder to their eyes

I smiled sadly and I prayed
That maybe today, I would see my darkness melting away

I have passed through the great, iron gates and I have seen all of the
fates of those who tried but succeeded too late

Could it be, that my life is just a dream
Unreal though it seems for me
I can laugh I have seen
I have seen
I have seen
I have seen that my life is just a dream             


                            7. Warlord

   He's got fists of pounding thunder busting through the wall
   Towering figure dressed in black, he's coming for us all
   Crushing burning town and country torture just for fun
   He is the Warlord on his mission ruin everyone

   A thousand ranks of jets and tanks machine gun in his hand
   Destroy demolish desecrate the people and the land
   No one stands a chance if they should dare to cross his path
   Blood and bones and rotted dust lay in the aftermath

   Warlord take me to the land of war and flames
   Where battle cries will fill the skies and killers take no blame
   He lives to kill just for his glory and his fame
   Beyond the places he has been the people fear his name

   Lord of war take heed because God's hands come down on you
   Through smoke and stench of battlefields the sunlights coming  through
   You've ravaged and demolished half the earth but now it's time
   For you to fall in pain and madness payment for your crimes

        
                             8. Mister Personality

              Out tonight, out into that social scene again
              It'll be alright, if you can make your dream come true, you win
              Again you try, another case of do or die
              Again tonight, you never stop to ask yourself why

              Cause you've become mister personality
              You live your life so wild and free

              Sitting at the bar, acting like some kind of star
              You're not very far, when you stop to think of where you are
              All the girls, hanging round, just trying to take you
              Around the world, if they only knew, they might forsake you

              Cause you've become mister personality

              But you've lost the perfect opportunity
              To live your life as it should be

              You were always the one who said he's got it made
              There were always the dues you never had to pay
              But I can see its coming to an end

   It feels like we've gone from the pan straight to the fire

   When push comes to shove
